An event full of valuable impulses
Building Green in Hamburg was once again a complete success this year. Over 2000 visitors took the opportunity to discuss sustainable innovations and environmentally friendly solutions. Over two days, the event offered a wealth of knowledge and ideas that encouraged people not only to think about sustainability, but also to take concrete steps. The motto of this year’s Building Green was “act now!”.
Among other things, the focus was on presentations by two renowned experts:
Thomas M. Rau, Director of RAU and founder of Turntoo and Madaster, emphasized the need for far-reaching changes towards sustainable practices.
Jan Gehl from Gehl – Making Cities for People spoke about the relevance of cities that are easily accessible on foot and by bike, and how such cities can have a positive impact on health, climate and quality of life.
After these two days full of inspiration, we look forward to putting the knowledge gained into practice and organizing the next Building Green event next year in Hamburg and taking further steps towards a sustainable future.
